Youth And Pride Camp Dates Set For 2016

The annual football camps will be held this summer at Parker High School. The YOUTH CAMP will be Thursday, July 19-July 21 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. For campers entering 9th-12th grade the PRIDE CAMP will be held July 18th-21st from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Please see Coach Kreger if you have questions [608-743-5595].

Parent Meeting Scheduled For Wednesday, May 25

Parents of all Parker football players will meet in the large auditorium at Parker High School.The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25 and will start at 6:00 PM.

WCLO's Al Fagerli Retires

WCLO's Al Fagerli has broadcasted Janesville athletic events since 1980. The Craig at Parker boys basketball game was his last play by play. Joe Dye Parker's Athletic Director stated that "Al Fagerli raised the presence of high school sports in our community with the infectious enthusiasm that carried through his voice in each and every broadcast." Awards Recognition

The 2015 Parker Viking football team held their Awards Recognition on Sunday, November 8. Seniors, teams, and individuals were presented with awards which included academic achievement, most dedicated, co-captains, all-conference recognition, most improved, most valuable, and defensive player of the year. Vikings Selected For
All-Conference Honors

DJ Vance was selected as the Back of the Year and Mylik Williams was chosen on the first team All-Big '8' Conference Football Team. Also being recognized for All-Conference honors were Marq Brooks, Zach Christianson, Darin Empereur, Ed Jacobson, Dayton Jensen, Dayton Jensen, Alex Perkins, Evan Teubert, Alonzo Velazquez, and Colton Whitwam. Muskego Wins WIAA
Level 1 Playoff Game

Muskego the co-champions of the Classic 8 Conference scored early in the first half and then scored twice more toward the end of the second quarter to take a 21-0 halftime lead. Two third quarter scores followed by a fourth quarter Viking TD made the final 35-8. The Vikings played tough right up to the end of the game but Muskego's long runs in the second quarter broke open a tight game.

Vikings Earn A Playoff Spot With Win At West

The Parker Vikings played a solid game on both sides of the LOS as they defeated Madison West 42-14. The win gave the Vikings a 4-5 season record and a WIAA playoff berth. Despite losing three games by a total of 7 points the Vikings never quit. Parker took an early lead and after a 7-7 first quarter exploded for 3 TD's in the second quarter for a 28-7 halftime lead.

Regents Edge Vikings In JV Game At Parker

In a closely competed game the Regents from Madison West made a fourth quarter TD and X-tra point kick hold up for a 7-6 win in a Thursday afternoon game played at Parker. In their final game of the season the Viking JV's never stopped competing and scored a late TD to close within 7-6. West stopped the Viking two point conversion attempt to preserve their win.

Late Spartan Score Ruins Parker's Upset Bid

The Vikings and Spartans from Madison Memorial competed in an outstanding high school game played at Madison's Mansfield Stadium. Parker rallied for two fourth quarter touchdowns to take a 15-10 lead with 3:57 left in the game. However Memorial responded and scored the winning touchdown with 1:50 to go in the game. Parker returns to Mansfield Stadium to play West next Friday.

Ninth Grade Heavyweight Team Hosts Cardinals

The heavyweight ninth grade team hosted the heavyweights from Sun Prairie on Thursday, October 1. The Cardinals held a 7-0 lead after one quarter and extended their lead to 23-0 at the half. Sun Prairie scored once more in the third quarter to make the final score 30-0. Parker now plays its final two games in Madison: October 8th at Madison Memorial and October 15th at Madison West.

Viking Lightweights Play Sun Prairie At Parker

The Parker ninth grade lightweight team played its final home game against the Cardinals From Sun Prairie. The Sun Prairie lightweights led 19-0 after one quarter and held a 38-0 halftime lead. The final score was 44-0. Parker now plays its final two games in Madison: October 8th at Madison Memorial and October 15th at Madison West.

Parker Formula: Defense + Run Game = Win

Despite a steady rain and a talented Madison East team the Vikings extended a 16-7 halftime lead to 29-7 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The rain made play difficult at times and Viking turnovers gave East great field position. However the defense held and then the Parker offensive line helped Viking running back DJ Vance gain 303 yards and a 36-15 win. Go to the East feature.

Vikings Climb To 500 With OT Win At Verona

After Verona had taken a 17-14 lead in overtime on a 31 yard FG the Vikings faced a 4th and 5 on the 20. QB Austin Zane's pass found Jadyn Ellis in the end zone for an electrifying end to a closely competed game. Zane who starts at TE replaced starting QB Jordan Bailey who was injured at the end of the first half. Zane scored on a 38 yd run to tie the game in the 3rd quarter.
