Cardinals Win Against
Vikings In Big '8' Opener

The Middleton Cardinals used a short run and a safety to take an 8-0 lead after one quarter. Middleton then scored 21 points in the second quarter to take a commanding 29 -0 halftime lead. The Cardinals then scored once more in the third quarter to make the final score 36-0. The game was played at Middleton. The Vikings now prepare for a game on August 29 against Craig.

Played At Parker HS

The Cardinals from Middleton traveled to Parker for a JV game against the Vikings. After a scoreless first quarter Middleton took a 16-0 lead. The Vikings narrowed the score to 16-8 before Middleton scored on the last play of the first half. With the score 22-16 in the third quarter the Cardinals scored 4 unanswered TD's to take a commanding 48-16 lead.

Vikings Prepare For Opener With Scrimmage

Parker traveled to Wales [Kettle Moraine High School] for a four team scrimmage. With one week to go before the conference opener at Middleton the Vikings gained valuable game-type experience while competing against Kettle Moraine, Mequon Homestead, and Sheboygan South. On Friday, August 22, Parker travels to Middleton for a 7 PM game.

Rules Emphasis

An emphasis in regards to practice procedures and on-field safety highlight the WIAA guidlines for the 2014 season. "Full pads" and scrimmage situations are not an everyday part of football practices. On Day 5 of the season the Parker Vikings practiced in helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts. This feature links to the new guidelines and rules for 2014.

Viking Players Prepare For The 2014 Season

Coach Eric Skrzypchak and his staff led the Pride Football Camp on the campus of Parker High School. The camp stresses fundamentals as well as offensive and defensive concepts that the Vikings will use during the 2014 season. Players will be issued equipment on Monday, August 4th. The first day of practiice will be Tuesday, August 5th. Go to the feature on the Pride Camp.

TJ Steinke Plays For The South All-Star Team

TJ Steinke who will play at the University of South Dakota was a member of the Large Schools South All-Star team which defeated the North Team 24-8 in a game played at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, July 19. The game which benefits the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin was the 38th Annual All-Star Football Game which is organized by WFCA.
