Cardinals Pull Away In Second Half To Win

Middleton scored at the end of each of the first two quarters to take a 14-0 halftime lead. A 78 yard kickoff return at the start of the second half upped the Middleton lead to 21-0. A short run in the third quarter gave Middleton its final magin of 28-0. Parker now returns home for a game against Beloit Memorial on Friday, September 30. Go to Middleton game.

Cardinals At Parker

The Parker Viking Junior Varsity team hosted the Middleton Cardinals in a game played at Parker on Thursday, September 22. The young Vikings displayed a competitive spirit by responding to early Middleton scores. After the Cardinals took a 13-0 lead the Vikings used big plays and a ground game to close to 13-6. Vikings Win The Battle For The Monterey Rock

The Parker Vikings used a punishing ground game to beat Craig . The win also brought the Monterey Rock back to Parker for the first time since 2011. Channel 57 televised the game. Also a special presentation was made as the Press Box was renamed the Wedeward - Fagerli Press Box. Parker withstood a second half Craig rally before pulling away for the 34-14 win.

At Janesville Craig

On a picture perfect weather day the Parker VR team traveled to city rival Craig for a Saturday morning game in the Craig Bowl. The Vikings won 14-12 on the strength of two touchdown runs by Seamus Murphy. After Murphy's 55 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter Craig scored on a 17 yard pass play. Murphy added a 6 yard run for a TD in the third quarter. Updated Monday, September 19.

JV Game Vs. Craig

Craig scored 28 unanswered points in the second half to pull away from Parker in a Junior Varsity game played at Monterey Stadium under the lights on Thursday night. The Cougars scored a late TD in the second quarter to take a 21-14 lead before exploding for 28 straight poiints in the second half. The final score was Craig 49, Parker 20.

Ninth Grade Team Plays Craig At Monterey

The ninth grade teams from Parker and Craig played an afternoon game at Monterey Stadium in perfect weather conditions. Craig took leads of 14-0 and 22-0 after the first and second quarters. The final score was Craig 46, Parker 0. The ninth grade team now travels to Middleton for a game on Thursday, September 22.
